Our Story
Brandon Vallorani
Entrepreneur | Author | REALTOR® | Cigar Lover
“The more I smoked cigars, the more I came to appreciate the experience. There’s a liturgy to the art of cigar smoking, from understanding the hard work that’s gone into growing the tobacco and rolling it, to the cut, to the enjoyment of the draw, the taste. You have to be present in the moment. It can make a real stoic out of you.”
Originally partnering with best-selling author, artist, and commentator Doug Giles, our founder Brandon Vallorani branched off in 2016 to form Vallorani Cigars. Partnering with Alberto Medina of PIO Cigars, Vallorani Cigars presents some of the most exquisite Old World cigars ever to reach the U.S. market. 60% of the brands on the market today, whether well-known or not, depend on no more than a handful of factories that are operating in Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic.
Alberto Medina personally sources and oversees the production of our boutique cigars from these factories. Since 1996, he has recruited the finest Cuban rollers to Miami, Florida, who have brought with them the old techniques and qualities of hand-rolled Cuban cigars used in Habana, Cuba before the Revolution in 1959. They are the best cigars we’ve ever smoked and it is with honor we present to you these favorite cigars at Vallorani’s Cigars, 114 E. Ocean Avenue, Lantana (next to Dua Lounge, Ravish, Old Key Lime House).
“I have yet to smoke a better cigar, and everyone I’ve shared them with has found them nothing short of astounding. I would not sell a product I thought somebody would be disappointed with, and I put my name – our family patriarch Luigi’s name – on my products. You know they’re good if I do that. I can’t let down his legacy or my own.”
